With my 2+2 2003 #1 16 years old 1 mile west of my house-blew driveshaft out racing a friend who said his 240 would beat my Z in spanish class everyday. Finally lined up at a random light one night and blew him away off the line until I hit second and BOOM driveshaft hits the pavement. (fastest I ever felt the NA go off the line) #2 clutch goes out in rush hour 2 miles from my house on the highway..glorious adventure 2004 #3 17 years old. Was too drunk to drive so I let my buddy drive and he got the clutch pedal somehow stuck to the floor. Pulled over in a mcdonalds and got out to push the car into a spot, forgot what I was doing, got back in the car and realized a cop was sitting across the street. proceeded to push the car into a parking spot and left it there and walked 2 miles home #4 out late on a school night pushing the rev limiter in the Z and blew the engine just below 160mph. The car died and I pulled over on the exit ramp I take to get off the highway to get to my house. Sat on the side of the road for 2 hours before a tow truck came to haul my car a half-mile to my house. So in those 18 months I used all 3 of my free AAA tows + one What I learned... 1.) Most accidents/incidents really do happen within two miles of your house 2.) Never will I allow my child to have a sports car for their first vehicle no matter how good their lawn care business is. 3.) Being a dumbass is really expensive.
